................................................................................................................................................. Shawn Hennnesy is originally from Canada and has lived in Spain for 20 years. She began a Sevilla Tapas blog quite by accident just over five years ago. At the time there were very few food blogs around and she is still one of the few tapas blogs that publish in English. As the photo might suggest she is a demon with her I phone and is constantly posting photos of mouth watering tapas on her blog and her Twitter feed. She now offers Sevilla Tapas Tours which are a natural extension of the research she has done for the blog, and the contacts she made over the years. The Market & Tapas Tours are new this year and have also become popular. If you are in Seville for a special occasion you might want to consider her gourmet tapas tour for a night to remember |

................................................................................................................................................. Degan Walters, based in Canada, is a writer, technology consultant, wine-lover, whisky-drinker and all-round culinary adventurer whose love of food comes from a deep curiosity and a genuine desire to try everything once. She has an unfettered addiction to jamón ibérico and will do almost anything to get it, but her passion for food and drink stretches in every direction. She has been blogging since 2001 and writing about food in a variety of places for many of those years. The blog covers whatever culinary bent she and her partner Matt happen to be on dining out, dining in, whisky, cocktails, and occasionally even products we come across. |

................................................................................................................................................. Maria is a professional freelance translator specialising in tourism, market research and marketing. She grew up in Northwest Spain and after gaining a BA in Translation and Interpreting and a BA in Modern Languages, she moved to the UK to complete a MA in Translation Studies at the University of Warwick. She now lives in Cambridgeshire with her English husband and you can find her writing as Feisty Tapas (meaning "determined Spaniard"), the blog of her alter ego, where she writes about her journey through motherhood, trying (often failing) to keep on top of things, while bringing up a kid biculturally and bilingually. She also muses about food and is amazed when people are brave enough to try her recipes, her passion for cross-stitch, her fear of driving following an accident and pretty much whatever takes her fancy when inspiration hits her as she pushes a stroller through life. |

................................................................................................................................................. Lauren Heineck, creator of Sobremesa In Spain, is a cien por cien foodie, obsessed with all things food and drink, even more so if she can meet the people or animals behind what she eats. After a bout in Valencia and two years split between Madrid and Barcelona soaking up sauces from her plates, she now finds herself to be somewhat of a permanent modern nomad. Wherever you find her next, she'll surely pay attention to quality, detail and taste while sharing it with the rest of the English speaking world. Also, follow her on her newly created Facebook page (yes, slow food doesn't always mean high-tech). |
